This homeowner initially wanted to add a hot tub, but needed help figuring out how to create a space that made sense both visually and practically. That’s where we came in.
To begin, we poured concrete to level out the sloping backyard. This gave us a sturdy, level foundation on which to build a cohesive space that included a hot tub, a patio, a fireplace, and a grill area. The result? A compact backyard that now feels spacious, luxurious, and incredibly usable.
Next came the patio — a space that connects all the key elements. Adjacent to the hot tub and grill, it serves as a central hub for relaxing, cooking, and entertaining. We added a concrete counter area with a built-in refrigerator, providing the homeowner with all the essentials for outdoor gatherings.
The centerpiece of this project, though, is the stunning outdoor fireplace and chimney. Built with eye-catching stonework, the fireplace adds warmth, ambiance, and architectural interest. A TV mounted above the fireplace means that whether you’re watching a Mavs game or catching up on golf, you can enjoy the action from the comfort of your hot tub or patio chair.
Topped with a roof structure that provides shelter and a finished look, this once-awkward backyard has been reborn as a high-functioning relaxation zone.
