This recently completed project in Aubrey, Texas, is a great example of how Bobcat Custom Construction transforms backyards into stylish and functional outdoor spaces. Designed with versatility and year-round use in mind, this installation includes a custom outdoor kitchen, an arbor with a polycarbonate roof, and beautifully crafted stamped concrete flooring. We also removed a load-bearing column, allowing for a more open and inviting layout—proof of our ability to combine craftsmanship with structural expertise.
We focused on creating a space that’s built to last and ready to use. The outdoor kitchen is designed for entertaining and convenience, with plenty of room for cooking, prepping, and gathering with friends and family. Whether it’s weekend grilling or weeknight dinners under the stars, this space is fully equipped to handle it all.
To provide year-round protection from the elements, we built a stylish arbor topped with a durable polycarbonate roof. This structure shields the kitchen and seating area from rain while still letting in plenty of natural light. Underfoot, the stamped concrete provides a polished look with low-maintenance durability—perfect for outdoor living in North Texas.
One of the key challenges on this project was the removal of a load-bearing column. Our team executed this complex modification with precision, ensuring both safety and an improved visual flow between the home and the new outdoor living area.
